Configurations
ETCS built Transfer Dies for the C2 Side Member program — a precision-demanding structural component with very tight hole locations, trim line requirements, and multiple extrusions requiring tapping. Both LH and RH configurations were produced from a single die program.
The die was engineered, built, validated, and bought off for production, running consistently at 20 strokes per minute with repeatable dimensional accuracy across all critical hole locations and trim features.

The C2 Side Member program required ETCS to produce complex structural LH and RH side members with highly demanding geometric requirements. The Transfer Die was designed with multiple stations to handle the complete forming, piercing, trimming, and extrusion sequence — including several extrusions that require subsequent tapping operations. The die runs in production at 20 SPM, delivering consistent dimensional accuracy on all critical hole locations and trim lines.
